The University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Swim Camp offers boys and girls, ages 8-17, who have not graduated from high school the opportunity to work with the best coaches and college swimmers from the Midwest.  The state of the art facilities at UWSP include an 8 lane, 25 yard pool and newly completed strength and conditioning center.  The goal of the UWSP Swim Camp is to help young athletes learn more about swimming while building confidence.  The coaching staff relies on a variety of innovative teaching strategies in an energetic, positive environment where athletes learn to succeed through example. Swimmers are placed in training groups appropriate for their swimming ability and age. Keeping these training groups small helps ensure a low swimmer to coach ratio.  All of our campers receive personal attention every training session every day!

The UWSP Swim Camp limits the number of campers allowed to attend each session in order to provide the highest one-on-one analysis and feedback. By spending one week at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, campers will be video recorded in all four strokes, trained twice a day to enhance physical and mental conditioning and instructed in proper race management.  Furthermore, the camp experience is highlighted by living with new friends in our dorms, eating at a campus dining facility, and working with the coaching staff and experienced athletes from the UWSP Swim Team.  We feel there's no better place to improve, in and out of the pool.
